Casella has grown to become one of Australia’s largest wine processing facilities and we are looking for multiple full-time Apprentice Mechanical Fitters to join our Maintenance Departments! You will be learning and working with state-of-the-art equipment with competitive remuneration, great employee benefits and full uniform is supplied.
About The Role
We are seeking applications from individuals interested in commencing a four-year apprenticeship in January 2026 as a Mechanical Fitter in our Maintenance and Packaging Maintenance departments.
The successful applicant will receive practical work experience within the Industrial workforce whilst undertaking their trade study course in Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Fitting) at TAFE.
Duties
- Perform work under instruction using available resources, established practices and procedures
- Assist with the safe and effective maintenance on a range of equipment and machinery
- Adhere to company safety and work procedures
- Report problems that may arise when performing work duties to the Maintenance Supervisor or Manager. This includes quality, safety and machine reliability or performance issues.
About You
- You will be a team player, self-motivated and have a strong work ethic
- You will have good literacy, numeracy, and communication skills
- You will have satisfactorily completed year 11 as a minimum, however, participation in a pre-apprenticeship program will also be considered
