The Opportunity An experienced ICT leader is sought to oversee the strategic direction, operational performance, and continuous improvement of technology services. This role plays a key part in enabling organisational outcomes through secure, reliable, and forward-thinking digital solutions. You will partner with senior leadership to ensure technology capabilities align with strategic priorities, while driving innovation, resilience, and efficiency across the organisation. Key Responsibilities Strategic & Business Leadership Contribute to organisational planning and long-term strategic direction Provide expert technology advice to senior stakeholders Establish and monitor performance metrics to evaluate service delivery and outcomes Lead the development and ongoing refinement of ICT strategies, frameworks, and policies Oversee departmental budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance People Leadership Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing ICT team Translate strategic priorities into clear operational objectives Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability Support staff through change, transformation, and innovation initiatives Technology & Operations Oversee all ICT functions, including infrastructure, applications, networks, and communications systems Ensure effective management of enterprise systems, platforms, and digital services Evaluate and implement technology solutions aligned with evolving business needs Maintain strong cyber security controls, governance, and risk management practices Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning within the ICT environment Oversee digital platforms, including web and internal systems, to ensure usability and performance Ensure delivery of responsive and effective ICT support services across the organisation Governance & Compliance Ensure adherence to relevant legislation, policies, and regulatory requirements Promote safe, inclusive, and respectful workplaces Support continuous improvement of systems, processes, and service delivery Manage vendor relationships, procurement processes, and contracts About You Skills Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and advise diverse stakeholders Excellent organisational and leadership capability across both strategic and operational domains Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships Analytical mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable outcomes Experience leveraging digital tools to improve reporting, automation, and efficiency Knowledge Broad understanding of organisational management including planning, finance, and risk Contemporary ICT practices including cloud services, mobility, and collaboration platforms Cyber security, data governance, and privacy frameworks ICT governance models, standards, and risk methodologies Business continuity and disaster recovery principles Project and program management methodologies Experience Demonstrated experience leading ICT strategy and delivery in a complex environment Proven ability managing enterprise systems, infrastructure, and digital platforms Experience implementing cyber security and risk mitigation frameworks Strong leadership experience managing teams and driving performance Track record delivering strategic and operational initiatives Experience managing budgets, vendors, and procurement processes Qualifications Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline (or equivalent experience) Postgraduate qualifications in business or leadership (or working towards) are desirable Current driver's licence Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance Key Stakeholders Senior Leadership Team Internal business units External vendors and service providers Why Apply?
