Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner Role
We seek an experienced professional to fill this position. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in psychology, occupational therapy or special education and be able to provide high-quality support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Reviewing Positive Behaviour Support plans and providing training, guidance and support to staff
* Participating in research to build the evidence base for our plans with publication in mind
Requirements:
* PhD/Doctorate (desired)
* Background in Psychology/Occupational Therapy/Special Education or Behavioural Interventions for individuals with Autism Spectrum disorder, Intellectual Disability or other complex diagnoses
* Experience understanding NDIS requirements
* Able to write and edit high-quality reports
* A car and driver's license
* National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain one
