The Role The Talent Partner leads and coordinates end-to-end recruitment processes and services for both general and project recruitment, delivering efficient, compliant and high-quality hiring outcomes across the department. The role also provides leadership, people management and support to team members, acts as an escalation point for more complex recruitment queries and works closely with stakeholders to achieve timely recruitment outcomes. The successful applicant will also provide trusted advice on best practice sourcing and assessment methods, including supporting First Peoples and disability employment targets. Main Accountabilities * Apply recruitment processes authoritatively and consistently. * Manage operational work teams. * Recommend resource allocation to the immediate manager to meet service delivery priorities. * Develop guidelines within the work area. * Conveys specialist concepts and policies to clients, staff and stakeholders. * Draft reports and recommendations by interpreting and analysing data. The Team The position of Talent Partner forms a part of the People and Culture Branch within the Corporate Services Group. Corporate Services brings together specialist functions including finance, procurement, legal, governance, people and culture, information technology, workplace services and emergency management. These functions help the department operate efficiently and effectively while supporting portfolio groups and ministers. People and Culture is a multi-disciplinary team that provides strategic, tactical and operational support, with a strong focus on delivering excellent service and trusted advice to help achieve the department's objectives. About You You will have strong stakeholder engagement, customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and deliver high-quality recruitment services in a high-volume environment. You will demonstrate sound judgement, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage complex recruitment matters in line with policy and best practice. The role also requires strong collaboration and people management skills, including supporting team members, providing advice and working closely with stakeholders to achieve timely outcomes.
