Job Title
A Health and Safety Professional is required to ensure the well-being of employees in a manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience in WHS and be able to develop and implement policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
* Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks within the workplace
* Provide expert advice and guidance on WHS matters to management, supervisors, and employees
* Deliver training programs on various aspects of health, safety, and environmental awareness
* Investigate incidents, near misses, and workplace accidents to identify root causes and develop strategies for prevention
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience in a manufacturing environment, construction, mining or similar (preferred)
* Relevant qualifications in WHS, minimum Certificate IV level or above
* Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to drive projects and collaborate with large teams
* Ability to conduct risk assessments and implement control measures
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to develop and deliver HSE training programs
