Job Title: Reservation and Guest Experience Coordinator
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
* You will be the main point of contact for guests with reservation enquiries from various channels. You will have opportunities to upsell and increase revenue.
* Provide exceptional personalized guest interactions, acknowledging IHG One Rewards members and returning guests.
* Meet targets for converting sales and ensuring efficiency in all guest interactions.
* Be responsible for prompt, courteous, and efficient handling of requests for guest reservations, changes, and cancellations.
* Adhere to IHG policies regarding trade practices, gifts, bribery, data privacy, and hotel credit policy.
* Stay up-to-date on the needs of modern business travelers and leverage this knowledge to provide an exceptional experience.
* Work collaboratively with Sales & Marketing, Front Office, Guest Services, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage teams to ensure a seamless arrival experience.
* Manage a range of guests, including corporate, groups, travel agents, and leisure clients.
What We Need From You:
* A minimum of 6-12 months experience in Front Office, Reservations, or Customer Service.
* Proficiency in Opera Property Management System and integrated Point of Sale and channel management systems is highly regarded.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, conflict resolution ability, and fluency in English.
* Strong attention to detail, excellent stakeholder management, and ability to collaborate effectively.
* Flexibility to work a 7-day rotating roster, including weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.
