Kotahi Consulting is partnering with a well-established civil engineering consultancy expanding its Queensland operations. Backed by 35+ years of national experience, the business is building momentum locally and investing in high-calibre engineers to support continued growth.
We're seeking an experienced Project Engineer ready for the next step — greater responsibility, broader project exposure, and a clear pathway into Senior Engineer or Project Manager roles.
The Role
Working directly with the Queensland State Manager and national technical specialists, you will:
* Deliver urban development projects from concept to construction
* Coordinate with clients, authorities, contractors and stakeholders
* Manage design coordination (design outsourced), technical queries and documentation
* Support programming, resourcing and commercial management
* Drive practical, constructable engineering outcomes on behalf of developer clients
* Let, assess and award construction contracts
* Provide owner representation throughout construction and close-out

About You
* 5+ years' civil engineering experience (consultancy preferred)
* Exposure to infrastructure, urban development and/or water projects
* Strong communication skills and proactive mindset
* Civil Engineering degree (or equivalent)
* Full Australian working rights and valid driver's licence
