People Culture and Compliance Coordinator

This is a full-time role based in Darwin, Northern Territory, supporting the Marthakal Homelands and Resource Centre Aboriginal Corporation ICN 8274. As the People, Culture and Compliance Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in implementing effective human resources and compliance practices to support the organisation's strategic objectives.
What you'll be doing
* Coordinating all aspects of employee lifecycle management, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management and offboarding
* Ensuring compliance with relevant employment legislation, workplace policies and procedures
* Implementing and maintaining effective human resources systems and processes
* Providing guidance and support to managers on people-related matters
* Delivering tailored training and development programs for employees
* Promoting a positive and inclusive organisational culture
* Monitoring and reporting on key HR metrics and KPIs
What we\'re looking for
* Excellent knowledge of employment legislation, HR best practices and compliance requirements
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with employees at all levels
* Proven track record in implementing HR initiatives and driving continuous improvement
* Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related field
* Familiarity with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and communities is highly desirable
