The Opportunity
We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our Western Australian Sales Team, based in Malaga.
Reporting to the Field Sales Manager, you will be responsible for hunting and securing new business opportunities across small to medium enterprises (SMEs) within the assigned central geographical area.
* Identify and develop new business opportunities.
* Ensure long-term growth and profitability by building relationships with key clients and generating new business.
* Submit quotes and follow up on leads to close sales.
* Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong customer relationships.
* Meet sales targets according to business metrics.
* Collaborate with other business units at Cleanaway.
About You
You will bring a genuine passion for sales, customer engagement, and a results-driven attitude. This role offers a great opportunity to gain experience in the waste management industry and develop your sales skills.
* Previous solutions sales experience is preferred.
* Experience with Customer Relationship Management tools like Salesforce is beneficial.
* Excellent time management skills to balance fieldwork and administrative tasks.
* Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Resilient, tenacious, and focused on results.
* Ability to work well under pressure, hunt opportunities, and drive new business.
