About Our Mental Health Service

We provide leading mental health care services to adults, young people and families in our community-based setting. Our multidisciplinary team offers tailored support to individuals experiencing psychological distress.

The Role Overview

As a clinician within our team, you will work closely with consumers, families, carers and extended agencies to develop and implement individualised psychosocial interventions. You will provide comprehensive assessments, brief and ongoing interventions, risk management and care planning to meet the unique needs of each person.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide focused psychological strategies to meet the individual needs of people accessing our service.
* Work collaboratively across health service networks to plan and coordinate individualised interventions.
* Develop and maintain relationships with consumers, families, carers and extended agencies.
* Participate in continuous learning and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

* General registration as a Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Mental Health Occupational Therapist or Mental Health Nurse, or AASW registration as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker.
* Demonstrated knowledge, expertise and skill in Brief Intervention Models of Care.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and willingness to participate in continuous learning.
* Well-developed judgment and evaluation skills, with a working understanding of assessment and care planning.
* Sound understanding of public, non-government and private mental health systems and programs in a community setting.
* Proven ability to work creatively, collaboratively and effectively as a member of a team.
