Electrical Engineer Opportunity
Aurizon invites you to support rail projects focused on construction management and engineering support for high-voltage overhead and power systems.
As an electrical engineer, you will plan and organize construction works, manage cost estimates, internal and external resource requirements, material needs, integration with other work groups, staging requirements, and construction programs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Organize and prepare quality certification documentation.
* Manage technical issues and support day-to-day construction and operational activities.
* Contribute to developing and reviewing technical aspects and strategies for new technologies and techniques applicable to railway traction systems/networks.
* Identify requirements for new processes and standards and contribute to implementing new standards, specifications, and work practices.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
* 3-5 postgraduate years' engineering experience in rail, mining, operations, or infrastructure projects (preferred).
* RPEQ engineers considered for a project engineer role based on experience.
* Class C driver's license (mandatory).
* Previous experience in railway traction, distribution, or transmission construction/renewal projects (advantageous).
