SUPERSTAR RETAIL FLOOR LEAD REQUIRED - FUN AND INTERACTIVE EXPERIENCE IN THE PERTH HILLS AREA
We're looking for an individual who is passionate, hardworking, creative, and energetic to become the Retail Floor Lead and assist the Retail Manager in managing and operating the retail facilities onsite during the event. Set in a nighttime woodland trail, you will help manage the staff and store, and help keep the guests fully immersed in the world of this popular movie franchise and to be able to enjoy food and beverages inspired from the films and have the opportunity to purchase film related merchandise.
Your main duties will be to help manage the staff and run the onsite store with the Retail Manager. You will also assist the guests in the retail areas, help them find items and get checked out, and answer any questions they may have. We are looking for an individual who will help create a team atmosphere, and have fun performing their tasks.
ROLE BREAKDOWN
Assist the Retail Manager to manage all aspects of retail operations for these stores - including inventory management, scheduling, staffing, cleanliness, preparations, and more
Work to help manage the overall organization, planning and operations of the retail set‐up and teardown
Supervise the team during the initial inventory and unboxing of all merchandise
Manage scheduling, training and supervising of all retail staff
In coordination with the Fever-Ops team and Event Management, help set up the POS systems located at each point of sale
Oversee, direct, and evaluate flow of service and all sales positions
Monitor all cash/card transactions
Resolve customer complaints, concerns and general needs
Willingness to delegate and execute all other related duties
Address and communicate all staff related issues to on site managers and local labor provider
Works with Global Retail Lead and Event Manager to organize delivery shipments of incoming merchandise
Crew welfare - ensure shift patterns are running smoothly & breaks are implemented.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years previous experience in retail management or supervisory experience
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and lead others while holding them accountable for results
Strong communication skills, including the ability to work cross functionally with all levels and teams
Must have experience in using Google Drive and the Google suite of applications including Sheets, Word, Google Meetings.
Passionate about creating a unique and exceptional customer experience
Business minded and analytical, understanding levers to pull to fuel our business and hit performance metrics
Solutions‐oriented
Must have a positive, outgoing, energetic demeanor and able to maintain a good attitude
Ability to deal with stressful situations in a calm and professional manner.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays if needed
Preferably ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted; and bend, twist, and kneel with ease
Current First‐Aid certification is a plus.
