About The RoleAs the on-site Health Service Manager, you’ll be the executive leader for Moree District Hospital, responsible for both clinical services and overall site operations. Your role will include: Overseeing clinical operations and service delivery. Leading and mentoring a dedicated local team through change and growth. Embedding new systems and strategies, including the Single Digital Patient Record in 2026. Partnering with the district to align with broader organisational goals. Driving quality care models tailored to a rural setting. This role is ideal for someone ready to step away from the floor, take the reins, and bring strategic vision to life. You’ll be supported with a tailored orientation and management program, access to a strong network of regional leaders, and ongoing professional development.Who We’re Looking ForWe’re seeking a dynamic and experienced nurse leader who is: Confident, structured, and steady in their leadership. Operationally experienced and understands hospital systems at a high level. Well-versed in awards, conditions, and best practices. Skilled at using professional networks and working collaboratively across services. Passionate about shaping rural healthcare and ready to grow a service from the inside out. Familiar with the unique needs and strengths of rural communities. To be successful in this role, you will need to be a Registered Nurse with current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). You’ll also hold relevant tertiary qualifications in health management or be actively working towards them.
