The Food and Beverage staff are responsible for the day-to-day customer service of the Bar and Café, overseeing a memorable guest experience that is an important part of the entire Skypark by AJ Hackett experience. The Food and Beverage staff ensures Skypark Cairns' bar and cafe is run effectively, ensure quality food and beverages are served in a timely manner and that an excellent level of guest service is provided at all times.
Key responsibilities:
* Ensure that daily checklists, requisitions, and proper opening and closing functions are completed each shift
* Join pre-shift team meetings, communicating pertinent information to the operations and management team, such as daily schedules and provision of F&B during events
* Facilitate the sequence of service by ensuring that effective communication exists between service and kitchen staff
* Assist with the delivery of functions and events on site
* Ensure all cash handling and payment processing procedures are met by all food and beverage team members
* Participate in regular reports, stocktake audits and ordering as required from time to time
* Deliver food and drinks to guests in an appropriate manner, ensuring Responsible Service of Alcohol and Food License requirements are adhered to
* Prepare, mix and serve a variety of beverages
* Restocking all stations, equipment, machinery and products ready for day trade and when further required
* Thoroughly clean equipment during and at the end of service/each shift
* Available for regular weekend work
Essential
* Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA)
* Minimum one (1) years' experience in hospitality management
* Permanent residency or Australian Citizen only
Desirable
* Queensland C Class Driver's Licence (Manual)
* Tertiary qualifications in Hospitality
* CPR Certificate (HLTAID009) or Equivalent
* First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011) or Equivalent
