We help our clients deliver large, complex projects that benefit local communities. The Eva Copper Mine Project is a greenfield resource that will become Queensland's largest new mine. It's located in Cloncurry, Australia, on traditional Kalkadoon lands. We're providing EPC services for the Eva Copper Process Plant and Non-Process Infrastructure. This project requires expertise across all disciplines and functions.
Job Summary:
In this role, you'll develop control systems design work, create 3D models and drawings, and estimate design costs. You'll communicate with clients, facilitate technical discussions, and review drawings and calculations. Your goal will be to ensure control systems designs meet all regulations and standards.
This part-time telework position may require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. In-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor.
Major Responsibilities:
* Plan, develop, coordinate, and review design work within a control systems design group.
* Produce drawings and documentation according to established design and scope.
* Coordinate with engineers, scientists, specialists, designers, and drafters.
* Communicate complex technical issues and recommend solutions.
* Facilitate technical discussions with clients, suppliers, and regulators.
* Mentor designers and drafters for professional development.
Education and Experience Requirements:
A bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and ***** years of relevant experience are required. Prior experience in a lead instrumentation and control system designer role is essential.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Prior experience as a lead instrumentation and control system designer.
* Experience with SmartPlant Instrumentation and Smart3D design authoring systems.
