Available Consultant roles include:
* Psychiatrist Clinical Director - Adult Inpatient Mental Health
* Psychiatrist Clinical Director - Adult Community Mental Health
* Psychiatrist Inpatient Mental Health
* Psychiatrist - Acute Care Service
* Psychiatrist - Child & Adolescent
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead multidisciplinary teams to provide specialist psychiatric services to patients.
* Promote patient safety and quality of care. Provide leadership, orientation, training, supervision, and education for doctors in training, health service medical practitioners, and other health workers.
* Collaborate with the Medical Co-Director, Clinical Leads, and other Consultants to meet national, state, and EMHS performance standards and targets.
* Work within the scope of clinical practice as defined by the EMHS Area Medical Credentialing Committee.
* Qualifications:
o From the UK: Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) and a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT), awarded under any RCPsych curriculum from August 2007 onwards, following satisfactory completion of a GMC or Postgraduate Medical Education and Training Board approved psychiatry training program in the UK.
o From other countries: Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia and Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists or equivalent.
* Demonstrated clinical skills and experience working with mental health issues in Adult Mental Health and/or CAMHS.
* Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
