About the role
* We are currently hiring for multiple roles across our Ward Support Department, offering several exciting opportunities to join our growing team
* Safely transport patients, equipment, and furniture across hospital wards as directed by the Transport Office or Wardsperson Supervisor
* Assist patients with movement, positioning, and access to meals under the guidance of nursing staff
* Collect and deliver specimens, blood products, and medications as required
* Support infection prevention practices and maintain a clean, safe environment
* Provide respectful assistance with patient transfers, including the transport of deceased patients, in accordance with hospital procedures
About you
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with basic computer literacy
* Awareness of work health and safety and infection prevention principles
* Initiative, self-reliance, and flexibility in a dynamic clinical environment
* CPR accreditation or willingness to obtain
