The Department is seeking to establish a pool of Teachers - Science - Physics to fill permanent and fixed term vacancies that may arise during the 2026 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Note : This position is advertised as part of a recruitment pilot to simplify the application process. A mandatory CV template is provided. Role and School
Woodvale Secondary College is seeking to appoint a pool of motivated Teachers - Science - Physics to join its team. The College emphasises an innovative and caring learning environment, strong community engagement, and opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities (illustrative)
- Deliver Year 11 and Year 12 ATAR Physics curriculum with appropriate instructional strategies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop, review and deliver the science curriculum to ATAR level.
- Engage in 21st century learning practices and integrate information technology into the curriculum.
- Support a safe and stimulating learning environment to enable student achievement.
- Participate in school professional learning and leadership opportunities as available.
Qualifications and Skills
- Excellent knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum for Physics and related pedagogical approaches.
- Experience or knowledge of delivering ATAR Physics (advantageous).
- Strong data literacy and ability to reflect on practice and adapt to student needs.
- Ability to contribute to a positive school culture and collaborate within a team.
