Position Overview
We are seeking two experienced FRP Supervisors to join a major construction project for a 5-month assignment. One position will oversee the Day Shift, and one position will oversee the Night Shift.
Location: Project based in the Wollongong / Sydney region, NSW.
Applicants must:
* Be based locally in Wollongong or Sydney; or
* Be willing to relocate for the duration of the project (5 months).
Accommodation can be provided for suitable non-local candidates.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise daily FRP construction activities across complex structural works
* Coordinate crews, subcontractors, and site resources to achieve project milestones
* Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications
* Monitor productivity, quality, and compliance across all FRP operations
* Lead pre-start meetings and toolbox talks
* Work closely with engineers, site management, and project stakeholders
* Identify and resolve on-site construction issues proactively
* Maintain strong safety leadership and enforce WHS requirements
* Ensure accurate reporting and shift handovers
Required Experience & Skills
* Demonstrated experience supervising FRP works
* Experience working on complex structural construction projects
* Strong understanding of:
o Formwork systems
o Reinforcement installation
o Concrete pouring operations
* Proven ability to lead crews and manage site activities effectively
* Strong communication and coordination skills
* Commitment to safety, quality, and program delivery
Highly Regarded
* Experience with DOKA jump form systems
* Major infrastructure or large-scale commercial project experience
Qualifications & Tickets
* Relevant trade qualification or construction industry experience
* White Card (mandatory)
* Relevant supervisory training/certifications preferred
