Wild Child Paediatrics is a paediatrician-led developmental and behavioural paediatric service based at Hollywood Medical Centre in Nedlands.
We provide warm, thoughtful, neurodiversity-affirming care to children and adolescents across Western Australia.
As our service expands, we are inviting experienced medical and allied health clinicians to express interest in joining our multidisciplinary team on a contract basis.
This opportunity suits clinicians who value depth of thinking, collaborative practice, and flexibility, and who enjoy working with children and families whose needs are complex and evolving.
Who we're keen to hear from
GPs with a paediatric interest
Paediatric subspecialists (including gastroenterology, respiratory/sleep, genetics)
Occupational therapists
Counsellors
What we offer
Beautiful, child-friendly consulting rooms within Hollywood Medical Centre
Theatre access available through St John of God Private Hospital, subject to credentialing and approval
Flexible sessional arrangements (half-day to multiple days per week)
Centralised referrals and a steady, appropriate caseload
All billing and administration managed by our practice team
Optional ambient AI to support clinical documentation
Full operational and onboarding support
A genuinely collaborative, multidisciplinary environment
Opportunities for CPD, case discussions, group programs and parent education
Working With Children Check
Requirements
Experience in neurodevelopmental, behavioural or complex paediatrics
Commitment to holistic, neurodiversity-affirming care
Strong communication with families and colleagues
Ability to work independently with clear clinical accountability
Professional indemnity and public liability insurance
Preferred (but not essential)
Experience with complex paediatrics, feeding or child mental health
Trauma-informed or strengths-based approaches
Interest in shared-care and multidisciplinary collaboration
Interest in group programs, education or CPD delivery
