You will offer clinical leadership, contribute to service improvement and collaborate closely with families, carers and multidisciplinary teams.Deliver comprehensive psychological assessment, formulation and intervention for child and adolescent outpatientsProvide expert consultation to multidisciplinary teams, health professionals and key stakeholdersMaintain high professional and ethical standards in line with APS Clinical College guidelinesParticipate in quality improvement, clinical research and service development initiativesEnsure accurate, timely documentation, reporting and adherence to safety, risk and compliance requirementsReady to make a meaningful impact?

Apply now to become part of a team where your expertise, compassion and leadership truly matter.How to ApplyApply online by submitting your resume and addressing the criteria listed below by providing examples that demonstrate your ability before the closing date.Essential RequirementsQualification: Postgraduate qualification / degree in Clinical PsychologyRegistration: Registration as Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)Selection CriteriaA four year degree in Psychology, being a three year degree with a fourth year honours in Psychology, and a post-graduate degree at the masters level or higher in Clinical Psychology from a recognised university.
Registration with Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA).
Experience in the provision of mental health practice, including conducting mental health assessments and the provision of evidence-based interventions for children and adolescents who are experiencing eating disorders and comorbidities at high levels of complexity and severity.Demonstrated knowledge of disordered eating, body image and related social and cultural issues associated with the development of eating disorders and demonstrated knowledge of innovative public health and community interventions to address the development and treatment of eating disorders.Demonstrated experience in liaising, consulting on medical and/or mental health issues with health professionals eg.
GP's, Nurses, Allied Health, involved in the management and treatment of eating disorders.Demonstrated ability to deliver therapeutic models for effective treatment of eating disorders such as Maudsley Family-Based Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.Demonstrated excellent communication skills, interpersonal, verbal and written and the ability to work individually and in a multidisciplinary team.Requisition ID: REQ******Applications Close: 11th January ****Need more information?
