Logistics Workshop Supervisor
An exciting opportunity has presented in our Townsville workshop for a dynamic leader to support the supervisor with overseeing other experienced fitters on the workshop floor, providing guidance and hands-on support.
Roster Information:
* Rotating 2 Week Roster
* Week 1 - Monday to Friday
* Week 2 - Tuesday to Saturday
Key Responsibilities:
* Participate in the on-call roster as needed.
* Assist raise work orders for all completed work.
* Act as the second-in-command for the Workshop Supervisor when required.
* Ensure all vehicle maintenance is up-to-date and compliant.
* Provide trade-qualified guidance to workshop employees.
* Monitor timely completion of repairs, defects, and servicing.
Requirements:
* A Trade qualification in Automotive Mechanics (Heavy Road Transport highly desirable) with 3 years' trade experience is essential.
* Experience as a leading hand or similar role (highly desirable).
* Knowledge of Kenworth will be held in high regard.
* Experience with the maintenance of fuel trucks and trailers (highly desirable).
* Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised while maintaining a safe work area.
