Global e-commerce specialist - fmcg - consumer goods

Established for over 50 years, Bundaberg Brewed Drinks is a fast growing and dynamic family-owned company well regarded in the beverage industry for innovation and quality in product, logistics and customer service. They are looking for a Global E-Commerce Specialist to lead, develop, and execute the global e-commerce strategy for the business. This role is responsible for driving online sales growth, optimizing digital channels, and ensuring consistent execution of e-commerce initiatives across all priority markets (Australia, NZ, USA, Korea, China). The position fills a critical gap by providing single-point accountability for e-commerce performance and innovation.

Working closely with global stakeholders, regional sales, marketing and distributor teams, you’ll help elevate how they appear online ensuring the digital platforms are optimised, engaging and delivering against clear performance outcomes. You’ll bring a strong understanding of the online retail landscape, from managing eRetailer relationships to optimising the digital shelf and retail media performance, ensuring they show up exceptionally wherever their consumers shop.

Ideally based in Australia or New Zealand (but can also be the USA, the Netherlands or Hong Kong) and reporting to the Chief Customer Officer, your key responsibilities are :

The role:

* Managing relationships with key online retail partners (e.g., Amazon, Woolworths, Coles, Tmall, Coupang).

* Developing and implementing a unified global e-commerce strategy, aligning with overall business objectives.

* Driving online sales performance through conversion optimization, digital merchandising, and customer experience improvements.

* Collaborating with regional sales, marketing, and distributor teams to ensure best practices are shared and scaled.

* Monitoring market trends, competitor benchmarks, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.

* Leading direct-to-consumer initiatives, including platform selection, digital marketing, and customer engagement.

* Analysing e-commerce metrics and report on performance, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.

* Overseeing the e-commerce budget, forecasting, and resource allocation.

You:

Critical to your success will be your skills around digital sales, or online channel management, ideally within FMCG, retail, or consumer goods sectors. (minimum 5 years)

Other essential experience is:

* Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, E-Commerce, Digital Marketing.

* Demonstrated success in developing and executing e-commerce strategies across multiple markets or regions.

* Strong analytical skills with experience using digital analytics and e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopper Platforms, Power BI)

* Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.

* Experience with digital marketing, online merchandising, and customer experience optimization.

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

* Ability to learn quickly and autonomously with a high attention to detail

* Familiarity with international e-commerce regulations, logistics, and
