About the role
We have opportunities for experienced Accounts Payable Officer, who displays strong experience and communication skills to join our head office located in Townsville.
Reporting to the Accounts & Payroll Coordinator, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and payments, ensuring strong financial controls and positive supplier relationships.
This role supports the finance team and broader operations by managing accounts payable functions, maintaining accurate records, and providing general office coordination support.
The position requires high attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams to ensure efficient invoice approvals and cost allocation.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable & Financial Administration
1. Data entry of supplier invoices into Xero.
2. Coding and allocating costs accurately to projects and cost centres.
3. Managing invoice approval workflows (ApprovalMax experience highly desirable).
