ABOUT THE ROLE
Play a critical role in supporting Australia's Defence training capability by managing security clearances, Defence access requirements and compliance across Wodonga TAFE (Part of NVITAFE) nationally delivered Defence contracts. Working closely with the Manager Defence Support Services, Defence stakeholders and subcontractors, you will ensure compliance with Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) requirements while driving continuous improvement in security systems and processes.
Selected Duties
* Manage Defence security clearances, sponsorships and access requirements for staff and subcontractors nationally
* Maintain Wodonga TAFE's Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) obligations and compliance requirements
* Coordinate Defence induction programs and security-related reporting
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance security administration and service delivery
Must be an Australian Citizen and able to gain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1)

* Qualifications in Business Administration / Management and experience in a similar field; or less formal qualifications with substantial experience and management expertise in an Administration/Business Management role. Previous experience in service administration is essential, qualifications required
* Demonstrated ability to manage complex processes while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence and provide expert advice
* Experience developing, implementing and improving systems, policies or administrative processes
