About Our Kitchen Support Role
We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Kitchen Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our residents by delivering high-quality food services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and serve meals to residents in a safe and hygienic manner.
* Assist with kitchen cleaning duties, including washing dishes, sweeping, and mopping floors.
* Take orders from residents and coordinate meal preparation.
* Wash and dry laundry, iron clothes, and fold and put away items.
* Comply with infection control procedures at all times.
Requirements:
* Food Handling Certificate (essential).
* Experience in cleaning and food handling/preparation (preferably in an aged care setting).
* Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Current NDIS Check, or willingness to obtain.
