What's the role?
As the State Programmatic Sales Manager NSW, you will take ownership of the programmatic commercial strategy for one of Australia's leading media companies. You will be responsible for leading a talented team of Programmatic Sales Leads, driving revenue growth across major national accounts, and cementing our position as a market leader in automated advertising.
Reporting to the Head of Demand, this is a high‐impact leadership position where you will blend extensive programmatic expertise with commercial strategy. You will act as a senior partner to major agencies, creating foundations for sustained growth and delivering integrated, audience‐first solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and Empower: Manage a state‐based team, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous learning.
* Drive Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate long‐term, strategic relationships with senior agency and client stakeholders to unlock sustained revenue growth.
* Execute Commercial Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies that integrate programmatic, performance, and streaming initiatives.
* Translate Data into Action: Strategically analyze sales data and market trends to optimise performance and inform executive decision‐making.
* Collaborate Internally: Work closely with Product, Pricing and Strategy teams to ensure our solutions are market‐leading and client‐centric.
Who are you?
* Experience: 10+ years in media sales or commercial leadership.
* Leadership Excellence: Proven experience leading high‐performing media sales teams and managing major national accounts.
* Programmatic Expertise: Deep knowledge of the programmatic landscape and the ability to deliver complex integrated media solutions.
* Commercial Savvy: A data‐driven approach to sales, with proficiency in CRM tools like Salesforce.
* Strategic Mindset: The ability to see future possibilities and translate market insights into breakthrough commercial strategies.
* Communication Skills: A natural ability to engage diverse audiences and build partnerships through clear, effective communication.
