About the role
As a Sales Engineer, you'll provide technical expertise, product advice, and engineering solutions to sales teams, and customers. Your role will focus on driving sales growth, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring the successful application of HVACR equipment. You'll also support market engagement activities, collaborate with marketing, and contribute to strategy development.
What you'll do
* Provide technical advice on HVACR and commercial refrigeration equipment to ensure customer satisfaction and project success
* Design and select equipment, prepare quotes, and follow up to maximise conversion and margin outcomes
* Collaborate with sales teams to deliver growth across your region, including customer visits, presentations, and negotiations
* Support product launches, roadshows, and market positioning activities with technical insights
* Report on sales activity and contribute to sales forecasts and strategy planning
* Build and maintain strong industry networks while identifying emerging trends and opportunities
What we're looking for
* Proven experience in sales, engineering, or business development within the HVACR industry
* Practical engineering knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems, with hands-on experience in equipment selection, application, and troubleshooting (advantageous)
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain customer relationships
* Results-driven, proactive, and confident in presenting and negotiating
* Excellent time management, organisation, and problem-solving skills
* Solid technical knowledge of HVACR principles and systems
