About the Opportunity
We are seeking a detail‐oriented Finance Officer to support our finance function on a permanent, full‐time basis. This varied role focuses on payroll support, statutory and compliance reporting, and key finance operations. The role works closely with the Financial Accountant, Payroll and broader Finance team to contribute to accurate reporting, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
* Support end‐to‐end payroll processing, including new starters, employee changes, timesheets, leave, terminations, superannuation and payroll tax submissions.
* Act as payroll backup and support planned payroll projects.
* Manage Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) activities, including driver and car parking logbooks, meal entertainment expense reviews and reporting.
* Prepare internal compliance reports for review.
* Prepare statutory reports including Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) surveys and Payment Times Reporting Scheme (PTRS).
* Assist with month‐end close activities, reconciliations and journals as required.
* Provide support across finance administration, ad‐hoc analysis and reporting requests.
About You
* Strong and demonstrable experience in a Finance Officer / Accounts Officer role.
* Strong payroll experience with sound knowledge of Australian payroll legislation.
* High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
