An chance exists for an experienced Field Service Technician, based from Canberra. Reporting to the Service Manager, Equipment, this role will be responsible for the mechanical work involved in repair, maintenance and servicing of turf maintenance related equipment within a nominated region (company vehicle supplied) in support of a wider national network.
Responsibilities:
Your duties in the role include:
Effectively managing field Service priorities and schedules
Effectively maintaining a secure, clean, and resourced Service fleet vehicle
Coordinating and performing various mechanical work involved in repair, maintenance, and servicing of turf maintenance related equipment
Establishing and maintaining relevant service-related information
Providing product service training to clients as required
Establishing and maintaining a customer base to ensure the continued financial growth of the Service Centre
Undertaking regular internal product-based training to ensure OEM standards of Service can be achieved
Skills & Experience:
You must possess:
Ability to work autonomously and in a team workplace
Experience in the maintenance and repair of mobile equipment, including hydraulic and electrical systems, diesel and petrol engines
Ability to use test and diagnostic equipment to determine the cause of mechanical or electrical problems
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to establish effective business relationships with internal and external customers
A valid Australian Motor Vehicle License
