The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our workshop team. You will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of our heavy vehicle fleet to ensure maximum reliability, safety, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose, service, and repair heavy diesel vehicles and equipment
* Conduct preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing
* Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults
* Ensure all work is carried out to industry safety standards
* Keep accurate service records and report on completed jobs
* Support the operations team by minimising downtime of the fleet
What We’re Looking For
* Trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic
* Strong experience with heavy trucks, trailers, and diesel engines
* Sound knowledge of diagnostics and repair tools
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* A commitment to workplace health and safety
* MR/HR driver’s licence (preferred but not essential)
