About the role
As the Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating and processing all payroll-related matters with precision and efficiency. This includes calculating wages, managing payments, responding to payroll queries, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures.
This position also contributes to the broader People and Culture function by maintaining accurate employee records within the HRIS system, preparing regular reports, and supporting data-driven decision making to guide organisational priorities and initiatives.
About you
You bring a positive, can-do approach to your work and are comfortable adapting to change. You enjoy tackling challenges and finding smarter, more efficient ways of working. You work well with others, building strong relationships while supporting employees and leaders, and contribute to a collaborative and inclusive team culture. You are confident using payroll systems and working with data and reports, and if you happen to have experience with ADP or UKG, that's a nice bonus—but not essential. Most importantly, you share our passion for contributing to a workplace that supports people, wildlife, and the environment.
