About the RoleThe Strategic Asset Management Lead reports to the CCSM Project Engineering Manager: Asset Management and collaborates with the Senior Principal - Asset Management. The role involves providing high-quality data analysis and research-based insights to senior leadership for sustainable strategic decision-making in asset management, balancing cost, risk, and performance.
This is a full-time position based at our Osborne site in SA or Henderson site in WA.
ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand needs and develop practical asset management strategies.Review and update documents to maintain ISO 55001 certification.Align asset management practices with internal and external contexts, strategies, and policies.Advise and support enterprise stakeholders across various forums representing the Asset Management function.About YouRelevant tertiary qualifications in engineering.Over 10 years of engineering experience in asset-intensive environments, with at least 5 years in Asset Management.Experience in defence or maritime industries, especially submarine operations, is highly desirable.Proven research experience with publications or research application outcomes.Strong skills in complex problem solving, stakeholder management, strategy, and policy management.Excellent communication skills.Current National Police Clearance and Australian Defence Security Clearance to NV1 level are required.BenefitsMeaningful work with a deeper purpose.Flexible work arrangements for work-life balance.Additional leave, parental leave, and subsidised childcare.Health, wellbeing, and professional development initiatives.Supportive and diverse work environment.Discounts and offers from Australian brands.About ASCEstablished in 1985, ASC employs over 1900 staff with expertise in submarine design, project management, supply chain, construction, and engineering.
