Your new company is one of Australia's largest suppliers and installers of specialised building materials. They are seeking a maintenance fitter to join their Wacol team!
Your new role
As their new Maintenance Fitter, your duties include and are not limited to:
* Maintaining the machinery in the plant and ensuring great efficiency
* Use of tools for fitting and assembly
* Apply your mechanical knowledge and skills to various tasks
* Report on breakdowns and repairing of machinery and ability to minimise downtime
* Collaborate with supervisors, managers and teams to solve preventative maintenance
* Follow safety procedures and protocols and ensure your work is compliant with industry standards.
* Shift times available - 4:00am - 2:30pm Monday-Thursday
What you'll need to succeed
* Previous experience in a mechanical fitter role or similar
* Ability to read and interpret drawings & plans
* Previous experience with hydraulics, pneumatics and PLC Operation knowledge - highly desirable
* High knowledge of mechanical fitting, including welding and fabrication
* Strong time management skills
* Own transport with valid drivers licence
* Ability to pass a Police Check and Drug & Alcohol test
