Geophysicist Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Geophysicist to assist in the collection of geophysical surveys, processing and drafting datasets, and engaging with equipment maintenance and safe operation.
* Assist with geophysical surveys including seismic refraction, MASW, electrical resistivity, magnetics, ground penetrating radar, and electromagnetics.
* Undertake downhole geophysical logging surveys with various techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, numerical knowledge, and the ability to problem-solve. A Bachelor's Degree in Geophysics or Geology is required. Familiarity with geophysical software such as Rayfract, ParkSeis, Oasis Montaj (Geosoft), Res2DInv, Seis Imager 2D, ReflexW, and WellCAD is preferred. Additionally, valid working rights in Australia and a clean medical record are necessary for this position.
