An exciting opportunity has become available for an Energy Project Coordinator.
As an Energy Project Coordinator, you will own and deliver the end-to-end process of customer-initiated projects, ensuring that time, budget, and quality meet our customers' expectations and compliance standards.
You will deliver strong customer service and stakeholder management with customers and community representatives (authorities, council members, and emergency services) to ensure an effective energy supply or generation capability for our customers.
Using your knowledge of our diverse services, you will be adaptive, solutions-focused, engaged, and eager to enable 'EnergyConnect' and various communication tools to continuously improve our customers' experience.
This role offers a hybrid work model (Office / WFH) and can be based out of our Traralgon location. It is part of our Energy Projects team within our Distribution line of business.
This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to:
Work collaboratively to identify improvement opportunities and drive change throughout the platform and customer experience.
Liaise and coordinate with Design, Drafting, and Surveying teams to obtain detailed construction plans for energy system infrastructure, including overhead and underground distribution systems, and distribution substations.
Provide general and technical support to resolve customer enquiries efficiently.
Complete customer project-related activities utilizing tools such as SAP, including preparation of contracts, estimation of projects, A-P development, construction file preparation, and project close-out.
While you don't need to check every box, we are looking for a good combination of:
Experience in an energy distribution network.
A background in training electrical power systems.
Suitable experience in electrical trades (Lineworker, electrician, or Licensed Electrical Inspector) seeking an alternative career path.
Excellent customer service skills – a professional, responsive, and informative customer advocate.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to proactively engage with customers and key stakeholders with limited assistance.
Ability to prioritize customer outcomes and promote continuous improvement of digital platforms and processes.
Demonstrated experience in Project Coordination and Project Management.
Proven experience in project financial management.
ESI Diploma or similar qualification.
