About the role
We are looking for exceptional spa therapists on a casual basis with availability across the whole week who are passionate about the Spa industry and can create immersive experiences for guests by providing quality treatments in a luxurious and tranquil environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide consultation and skin analysis prior to treatments
- Provide body and facial waxing/tinting services, facial treatments, manicures and pedicures and spa rituals
- Suggest treatment plans for future re-bookings
- Provide massage services to guests using props and/or products
- Provide body treatments to guests using body scrubs, wraps, and/or hydrotherapy
- Arrange workstation, treatment room, and/or drapes
- Maintain cleanliness of workstation and/or treatment room throughout shift, dispose of trash and dirty linens, and secure supplies and equipment at the end of each shift
- Assess guest needs and inquire about contraindications (e.g., allergies, high blood pressure, and pregnancy) before beginning service
Successful candidates will have
- Recent experience as a beauty/spa therapist
- Experience and confidence in spa treatments such as facials, massage and body treatments
- Previous experience in a 5-star hotel property (highly regarded)
- Diploma in Beauty Therapy or Certificate IV in Massage
- Excellent personal presentation standards and strong communication skills
- Able to anticipate guests’ needs and build genuine connection
- Reception experience in a similar setting is highly advantageous
