They are seeking a commercially minded finance professional to play a key role in shaping financial strategy, partnering with senior leaders, and who is passionate about delivering insights that influence business outcome and commercial performance.
The Role:
Reporting to the Finance Director and Business Unit Leader, you will partner with APAC’s regional leadership teams, providing robust analysis, improving reporting, and identifying opportunities for performance improvement and cost optimisation. You will have one direct report based remotely and key responsibilities include:
* Deliver insightful financial analysis to support strategic decisions across APAC.
* Prepare and present monthly management information packs with actionable recommendations.
* Prepare and monitor quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and performance metrics.
* Partner with business leaders to drive operational efficiency and cost control.
* Monitor financial and operational KPIs and provide variance analysis and financial reports to senior stakeholders on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
* Support business case development, long-term financial planning, and financial modelling.
* Ensure compliance with IFRS, local GAAP, and internal policies and assist with preparation of financial statements and reporting.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across finance systems and processes.
* Ad hoc analysis and project work.
About You:
* Professional qualification (e.g. CPA, ACA) and a strong academic background.
* Proven strong experience in an FP&A, commercial analyst or divisional financial controller role.
* Track record improving reporting, processes and systems.
* Experience in the software/technology industries highly regarded.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* A proactive, analytical mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and cope with change.
* Strong Excel skills, Power BI and familiarity with financial systems.
