About the Role
The Office of the Chief Information Officer (CIO) is driving major infrastructure and operational transformations to support the National Disability Insurance Agency's (NDIA) Strategic Objectives. The OCIO work is organized into Programs, each consisting of multiple technology projects.
The NDIA Program Manager works directly with the OCIO Technology Delivery Office (TDO) to lead Programs of work supporting the agency transformation. This role will oversee multiple projects within the OCIO portfolio either directly or via one or more ICT Project Managers. This position has a secondary reporting line to the Program sponsor responsible for the NDIA outcomes.
Main Responsibilities
* Ensure program management standards are adhered to throughout the program lifecycle.
* Establish and maintain regular Program planning, reporting, and governance forums.
* Identify and resolve roadblocks or escalate to the TDO, Senior Management, or Program Sponsor as needed.
* Produce regular Program reports, including key metrics on progress and program health.
* Deliver the outputs of the Program within agreed deadlines.
* Ensure that Projects within the program meet Service Design, Transition, and Cyber Security requirements.
* Build and maintain effective working relationships with Senior ICT and Business stakeholders.
* Coordinate workload allocation with delivery teams for inclusion in Sprints, ensuring Technology and Business teams deliver against the work plan.

Selection Criteria
1. Demonstrated minimum 5 years experience managing ICT projects and programs in complex agencies, adhering to industry program governance frameworks.
2. Experience in the following technology domains highly regarded: Identity and Access Management, Desktop, Network, Cyber Security, Unified Communications, Software Development, Cloud Infrastructure, ERP, or CRM systems.
3. Proficiency using Portfolio and Project management tools.
4. Experience operating within a DevOps and/or Site Reliability Engineer environment (SRE).
