Are you an experienced events professional who enjoys delivering high-quality events with real purpose?

The Naturopaths and Herbalists Association of Australia (NHAA)

Founded in 1920, NHAA is Australia's oldest professional association representing naturopaths and Western herbalists. We are a values-led, not-for-profit organisation working to strengthen standards, trust and connection within the profession.

The Role

Reporting to the Executive Officer, this is a hands-on, autonomous role suited to someone who enjoys variety, ownership and delivering exceptional event experiences across in-person, hybrid and virtual formats.

This is a permanent part-time role, 4 days per week, with remote work and occasional hot-desking or event attendance as required.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan and deliver NHAA events from concept through to execution and post-event evaluation
* Develop event programs, source and manage speakers, and negotiate fees
* Manage venues, suppliers, contracts, timelines and full event logistics
* Oversee AV, run sheets, onsite operations and compliance requirements
* Manage event budgets and work with CRM and event management systems
* Build strong relationships with speakers, sponsors, partners and stakeholders
* Track event performance and continuously improve processes and outcomes

About You

You are a confident, organised and proactive events professional with:

* 4–5+ years' experience in end-to-end event management
* Proven experience delivering conferences, webinars and professional education
* Experience leading or coordinating teams and external suppliers
* Strong project management, budgeting and stakeholder engagement skills
* A practical understanding of technical and AV requirements
* High attention to detail and a calm, solutions-focused approach

You're equally comfortable planning strategically and rolling up your sleeves to get things done.

Why Join NHAA

* Permanent part-time role (4 days per week)
* Remote working with flexibility
* Supportive, collaborative and values-led culture
* Meaningful work supporting a profession and member community
* Opportunity to deliver events that genuinely make an impact

This is a hands-on, autonomous role for someone who loves creating high-quality events with real purpose, across in-person, hybrid and virtual formats.

About the role

* Permanent part-time (4 days per week)
* Remote work anywhere in Australia
* End-to-end event ownership, from concept to post-event evaluation
* Collaboration with speakers, sponsors and stakeholders

Our commitment to inclusion NHAA is proudly an all-inclusive organisation. We value diversity in all its forms and warmly encourage applications from people of all backgrounds, in-cluding LGBTQIA+ communities. We believe diverse perspectives make our work – and our community – stronger.

If you're an events professional who enjoys variety, ownership and making a genuine difference, we'd love to hear from you.
