Founded in 1920, NHAA is Australia's oldest professional association representing naturopaths and Western herbalists. We are a values-led, not-for-profit organisation working to strengthen standards, trust and connection within the profession.
The Role
Reporting to the Executive Officer, this is a hands-on, autonomous role suited to someone who enjoys variety, ownership and delivering exceptional event experiences across in-person, hybrid and virtual formats.
This is a permanent part-time role, 4 days per week, with remote work and occasional hot-desking or event attendance as required.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver NHAA events from concept through to execution and post-event evaluation
* Develop event programs, source and manage speakers, and negotiate fees
* Manage venues, suppliers, contracts, timelines and full event logistics
* Oversee AV, run sheets, onsite operations and compliance requirements
* Manage event budgets and work with CRM and event management systems
* Build strong relationships with speakers, sponsors, partners and stakeholders
* Track event performance and continuously improve processes and outcomes
About You
You are a confident, organised and proactive events professional with:
* 4–5+ years' experience in end-to-end event management
* Proven experience delivering conferences, webinars and professional education
* Experience leading or coordinating teams and external suppliers
* Strong project management, budgeting and stakeholder engagement skills
* A practical understanding of technical and AV requirements
* High attention to detail and a calm, solutions-focused approach
You're equally comfortable planning strategically and rolling up your sleeves to get things done.
