About your new Role
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will take full ownership of the finance function in a hands‐on capacity. As the top finance person in the company, you'll be responsible for financial reporting, driving process improvements, and supporting the business with commercial insights. You will play a key role in helping the business scale, improve systems, and support strategic decision‐making.
Key responsibilities include:
* Ownership of month‐end reporting including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow, and KPI reporting
* Preparation and review of journals, reconciliations, and financial statements
* Partnering with the GM and leadership team to support strategic decisions
* Driving process improvements across finance and operations
* Leading system enhancements and ERP implementations
* Budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
* Managing compliance, audit, and internal controls
* Mentoring and leading a small finance team
About You
* Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Head of Finance within an SME environment
* Strong technical accounting skills with hands‐on experience
* Experience improving processes and implementing systems
* Advanced Excel skills and strong ERP exposure
* Confident communicator with the ability to partner with non‐finance stakeholders
* Self‐motivated with a proactive, problem‐solving mindset
