Professional 2 (Remuneration Package Range $106,158 - $126,245 (including salary $90,204 - $107,554)Infrastructure NTFull time, ongoing vacancyDarwin, Northern TerritoryBe part of the team transforming Darwin’s Middle Arm into a sustainable “development ready” industrial precinct with common use infrastructure.The Northern Territory Government is working with industry and the Australian Government to transform Middle Arm into a sustainable ‘development ready’ industrial precinct with common user infrastructure.As part of this initiative, Infrastructure NT’s Middle Arm Sustainable Development Precinct (MASDP) is delivering strategic infrastructure planning and development to align infrastructure needs with industry and population growth.As an Engineering Officer, your primary objective is to support the planning, design, coordination and delivery of assigned capital works projects to deliver the civil, roads and marine infrastructure associated with the Middle Arm Precinct and any other projects assigned through the department.Your key responsibilities will include providing program and project management, technical engineering services and headworks infrastructure to support the precinct project design process. This involves undertaking the necessary scoping, planning and feasibility to support the design of infrastructure, and provide written submissions and reports for the formulation of technical advice, strategies, policies and frameworks.In addition, you will participate in the development, implementation and maintenance of effective scheduling management systems, procurement activities and tender assessments, and participate in inspection of works.To be successful, you require a degree qualification in Civil Engineering or a similar discipline, high-level professional knowledge and experience in civil design, construction and practices, complex contract management, supported by well-developed communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.This is a great opportunity to progress your career, while experiencing the uniqueness of living and working in the Northern Territory.
