About This Role
This is a permanent part-time appointment at 48 hours per fortnight. The role of Consultant Surgeon - Urology involves leading a multidisciplinary team to provide specialist surgical services to patients, promoting patient safety and quality of care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide leadership, orientation, training, supervision and education for doctors in training, health service medical practitioners and other health workers.
* Work in collaboration with the head of department and other consultants to achieve national, state and EMHS performance standards and targets.
* Deliver high-quality surgical services, adhering to clinical practice guidelines as defined by the EMHS Area Medical Credentialing Committee.
Requirements
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency is an essential requirement.
* Documentary evidence of entitlement to live and work in Australia for the period of the contract.
* Criminal records screening and integrity checking as part of the appointment process.
