What you'll be up to:
The Maintenance role involves maintaining QMS Media’s suite of street furniture across the Gold Coast to a consistent and high standard. The role is responsible for a set number of street furniture assets within the designated area.
The role would suit a morning person as requirements are Monday to Friday with a normal start time of 6am each morning and fortnightly 2x days of a 3am start for poster installations. There is also a 1 in 4 week rotating roster for “On Call” duties.
* Maintenance of all assets assigned.
* Preparing, checking, and installing required advertising posters.
* Reviewing all assets regularly and as directed by manager to ensure they meet company and client requirements.
* Clearing broken glass and securing potentially hazardous sites.
* Undertaking minor and major repairs.
* Installation and removal of Bus Shelters and components
* Checking & replacing lighting tubes
* Monitoring and reporting of damage, faults and vandalism to assets.
* Removing graffiti, stickers and any unauthorised advertising.
* Stripping, rust removal and painting shelters
* Pest control
* Accurate recording of information relevant to the activities of each day on the appropriate documentation.
* Observe and adhere to the safe working practices, protect your own and others’ health and safety.
