ABOUT THE ROLE:We are currently seeking suitably qualified and/or experienced Fruit and Vegetable Factory Workers to join our "growing" team on a full time bases in Lindenow.Responsibilities:The core responsibilities of the Fruit and Vegetable Factory Worker will include:Operation of temperature-controlled facility to chill fresh and packed produce.Inspection of produce prior to and post packaging to ensure quality parameters are met.Operating machinery to prepare and pack fresh produce.Cleaning and sanitising equipment, plant and facilities.Operation of conveyors and associated packaging plant.Movement of product from packing facility to warehouse and shipping areas.ABOUT YOU:To qualify for further consideration, you will need to demonstrate a solid, relevant, working history and the below skills and attributes:Skills & Experience:A relevant AQF Cert I or equivalent OR compulsory secondary education (Year 10 minimum).
Experience in a packing/fresh produce environment essential.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Sound knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety requirements and legislation.Ability to work independently and contribute as a valued member of the team.Physically fit for the inherent requirements of the role.Great attitude
