Main Purpose / Role Summary Manage and grow a portfolio of customers across the civil construction, infrastructure, and building sectors (existing and new). Act as the technical and commercial interface between the business and contractors, engineers, applicators, and project stakeholders. Provide technical guidance and product recommendations, supporting customers in selecting the right construction materials and solutions for their projects. Achieve sales targets, revenue growth, and margin objectives while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and strong long-term relationships. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain long-term relationships with contractors, civil engineers, asset owners, and project managers. Understand project requirements (technical specifications, applications, performance needs) and recommend suitable construction material solutions. Develop new business opportunities by identifying upcoming projects, building contractor networks, and converting opportunities into long-term accounts. Achieve or exceed sales, project pipeline, and margin targets while meeting agreed KPIs. Monitor market activity including infrastructure projects, competitor products, specification trends, and innovations within construction materials. Prepare sales forecasts, project pipelines, account plans, and regular activity reports for management. Provide on-site technical support and product guidance where required. Candidate Profile / Requirements Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related discipline. 3–5 years of experience in technical sales, specification sales, or account management within construction materials, infrastructure products, concrete technology, coatings, or related sectors. Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects, develop specifications, and work independently while collaborating with technical teams. Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to travel to project sites and customer locations as required.
