Full training is provided so, along with the above, all you need is the curiosity and motivation to learn the process of collecting blood and biological product.A day in the centre could see you:Greet and interview potential donors to understand their eligibility and suitability to donateCreate a donor experience they’ll love—and want to come back Complete routine blood pressure and haemoglobin testsSet up machines and collections equipmentInsert and remove needles safely to collect whole blood and plasmaMonitor donors post-donation and assist them with rebooking their next donationWork collaboratively to achieve collection targetsHelp create an awesome donor experience that keeps them coming back for more!No prior experience in blood collection is needed, our paid and flexible self-paced training program has a balance between on-the-job practice, and online class schedules to ensure that you are well supported.Besides having a real passion to deliver an exceptional donor experience, you’ll need to be able to:Attend 60 hours across 9 shifts per fortnightBe available for a variety of shifts inclusive of weekends and afternoonsBe comfortable with needles and blood/biological materialsOccasionally lift between 9-22.7kgsSupport and foster a fantastic team cultureFrequently stand, walk and bend to set up and pack down machines and blood productsBe flexible to work varied shifts on a fortnightly rotating roster from Monday to Sunday, including weekends and afternoon shiftsUtilise your background in customer service and thrive in our dynamic environment, where your skills will be key to delivering exceptional results.Benefits And WellbeingWe place our employee's well-being at the forefront and express gratitude and care for one another.
