**About the Role**
As an integral member of the Maintenance team, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and improvement of equipment to ensure optimal plant performance, managing planned repairs and unplanned breakdowns effectively while maintaining best practice and safety standards.
**Purpose of the Role**:
- Working safely and ensuring the safety of those around you.
- The delivery of reliable, efficient and safe routine preventative maintenance activities.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with plant and machinery that may be mechanical or electrical in nature.
- Responding to breakdowns through prioritising and carrying out repairs in a safe manner.
- Working with the Maintenance Manager and Supervisors to conduct root cause analysis on failures and ensuring follow up on identified actions.
- Maintaining all registers, logs and systems to track repairs, notifications and work activities.
- Liaise with Production Supervisors and machine operators about performance of equipment.
- Develop & maintain a close and collaborative working relationships across the Maintenance, Production, Planning and Engineering teams.
**About You**:
- A trade qualified electrical background with proven experience preferably in an FMCG or similar industry.
- A safety mindset with a strong commitment to ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and others.
- Demonstrated experience as an industrial Electrician, preferably in manufacturing.
- Experience with Robotics, Rockwell suite and PLC fault finding.
- Experience with pneumatic systems.
- Working knowledge of CMMS (MEX preferred).
- Be willing to take on and train a mature age, existing 3rd year electrical apprentice
- The ability to build relationships with key stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.
