Who are we: Laserdyne Technologies Pty Ltd manufactures and develops state-of-the-art land, sea, and air-borne electro-optics systems for military and commercial applications. We are industry specialists in electro-optics, lasers, thin-film optics, electronics and mechanical systems. Established on the Gold Coast for more than 30 years, Laserdyne has a rich history of research, development, design and manufacture. The role: Due to growth we currently have vacancies for entry-level production workers. The responsibilities include: • Use of hand tools and small power tools • Cleaning and preparation of surfaces • Application of adhesives • Undertake chemical conversion processes • Soldering of electronic systems • Testing electronic components and systems • Assemble mechanical, electronic and optical hardware • Perform functional tests and inspections • Maintain accurate records of processes and quality checks • Follow area procedures, technical drawings and work instructions • Labelling and packaging of finished product Why work for us: • High-tech manufacturing facility located on the Central Gold Coast • Continually interesting work with core focus on research and development • No weekend or afterhours work required.
