A purpose-driven organisation is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to design and deliver scalable, secure cloud solutions primarily across MS Azure. This role will shape cloud architecture and support modern digital platforms that enable meaningful outcomes.
You will work closely with digital, data, product and cybersecurity teams to translate business needs into robust architecture solutions aligned with enterprise standards and future technology road maps.
The Role
Architecture & Design
* Translate business and technical requirements into end-to-end solution architecture designs
* Develop and maintain architecture road maps aligned with strategic priorities
* Design scalable architectures across Azure
Cloud & Platform Governance
* Ensure cloud solutions follow best practices for security, scalability and performance
* Provide architectural guidance to delivery teams and service providers
* Support resolution of complex technical issues
Data & Integration
* Design scalable data structures, integration's and data flows
* Embed security, privacy, governance and compliance into architecture
Stakeholder Engagement
* Partner with Digital, Data and Product teams to shape solutions
* Collaborate with cybersecurity and governance stakeholders
* Support the organisation's technology road map and strategic initiatives
About You
* 5+ years as a Solution Architect, with 7-10 years across technology, digital or data
* Proven experience designing solutions on Microsoft Azure
* Strong understanding of the Azure Well-Architected Framework
* Experience with cloud-first architectures, integration's and modern data platforms
* Strong documentation, communication and stakeholder management skills
Qualifications
* Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or similar (or equivalent experience)
* Microsoft Azure certifications (Solutions Architect or related)
* TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification desirable
